Well its 11:09 pm on Saturday and i didn’t dye a damn thing today. I started sewing pillows and I just couldn’t stop. Yes, zippers and all! Takes me a while-I’m not so quick in the sewing department-also I can get really impatient and plow through stuff and have to do it over again- especially with zippers! But i’m getting better with every one and today I took my time and I only had to rip one seam out. I have brother cs 6000i and I love it so much! I used to use an old singer that I got at the Sally in Jersey city when kate was a baby. I paid 40 bucks for it and have been carrying it around with me ever since. Whoever used to own it smoked a lot of cigarettes and it took me forever to clean it and it never really stopped smelling like an ash tray. Anyway, I put it out front about a month ago and someone took it home. It was a good machine, but I like this brother better. I still miss the old Singer sometimes, though. It had a cabinet and all. So now Kate is moving into her first apartment and I made her some pillows. Donna got me going because she saw this spread in Elle Decor about TieDye pillows. She clipped it and gave it to Laura to give to me and then she came over and cheered me on.
