WOW MOM week

It has been a real wow mom week. You know the kind I mean. More work than you can possibly get done and the family going through stuff.  So I thought it might be a good time to pick up another obsession.

I ordered these from a shop called the knit store on Etsy and i am determined to learn how to spin my own yarn. Not that I really knit, but that’s next. What I would really like to do is get a farm, raise some sheep, shear the sheep, card the wool, dye the wool, spin the wool into yarn and knit the yarn, felt the wool and use some of the yarn in the felted piece too. I’m sure I skipped a few steps in there. Then I read on the TAFA facebook page that it is spinning week or something like that.

Well they came today and I was out back photographing the new tea towel for the shop and I didn’t hear the bell. Tomorrow I will have to pick up my package at the Post Office under the BQE. Of course I got four. This is going to be a party!

Awesome! The towels look great. I love your tag. The etsy pics are very nice. Now, the yarn thing… Are you crazy? LOL! I taught my neighbor to knit after I taught myself from a book. She became unhinged! She dreams of alpacas in her back yard… She is out of control. You better set up some safety measures……. knitting is a very dangerous zone to enter. Tie an end to your husband or someone who will know when you are about to be sucked into the wooly fuzziness never to be seen again.
