Kate and I worked all day on the tea towels. I had the best time ever just watching my girl sew and sew. We had two machines set up no waiting. Kate you did a great job! Kate is going to Japan in a few months. She is writing all about her plans  and adventures in her blog tadaima. Check it out.

I will miss you Kate but I’m not going to think about it now.

Then after dinner Chelsea sewed her first pillow. She used some of my hand dyes and filled it with fluff, black eyed peas and lavender from the garden. Irene came over and caught the sew bug and worked with Chelsea on the hand sew part of the little eye pillow. What an awesome group of young women! Wow an eye pillow filled with black eyed peas, hmmm. Irene has a very cool blog about her traveling adventures called Ireneabides.
