ginkgo redux

It looks like it is spelled wrong, doesn’t it? Especially the two words together. I mean those two words.

I screened discharge paste on a few of my scarves. At the time it seemed disastrous. I did it out in the little house  and the wind was blowing like crazy and the silk kept offsetting on itself while it was still wet. screenprinter’s nightmare. Of course everything turned out ok and the green scarf turned out more than ok with those copper gingko leaves. That was a wonderful surprise just when I needed it. I dyed a bunch of t-shirts i had left over from the summer’s work. I think I hate how they came out but I will have to check again tomorrow.

Here is some of the discharge paste still wet.

and my absolute favorite after it was steamed with the iron and dryed.
