I finished the birds on the placemats from the other night. Yay! I love the way they came out. I printed the napkins to match. Brooklyn Doves. Put up a few dyepots with the leftover white v-necks.

The birds are just gorgeous. The colours remind me of toile. Did you draw them yourself?
oh no that is from some vintage print I collected years ago! Thanks, I’m so glad you like it!
I’m sure it must appreciate getting a new life! I hope that when I am vintage someone will print me on pretty napkins.
🙂
Very nice. Good idea to have them facing out instead of cooing to each other.Opens up the composition.
Thank you Martha. Glad you like them!
I love the birds on music!!! Brilliant!! And the t-shirts, you are in full production mode! That is the one problem with stitching….it takes too long.
Thanks Penny! I have so many projects going right now. I love stitching, though I’m not very good yet. But that’s ok practice practice! lol
Wow! I was waiting to see how these turned out. Love them. I want to be able to do this. I will just have to watch with a very green eye!!! Thank you Marjorie for sharing.
Regards Florence xx
Thank you Florence! Screenprinting is fun! You would be a natural at it I’m sure.
Hi Marjorie
What colourful T-shorts to add to your wardrobe. I am curious as to how you printed your napkins….using a Thermofax screen perhaps? Very nice indeed.
Hi Pamela I printed my napkins the old fashioned way with a traditional silkscreen and photo emulsion. Been at it for about 40 (shit really?) yes 40 years!
