Something different

I hand painted this linen with dyes a while back. I wasn’t sure what to do with them because they weren’t really too big. I just had this idea to make tote bags with a little something extra. They still need handles and closures. I’m thinking leather and brass. Sweet.

The red one is lined with lovely silk that Ann gave me many moons ago. The yellow one is lined with white linen. I know I know uncapped lipstick, old cough drops and cookie crumbs. Well it is washable. This was fun.

I really like the yellow. Reminds me of the rings inside a tree trunk.

Hi Marjorie. It is hard to choose between them. Loooove them both. Definately can see them with leather and brass.

Thanks Florence! I think I will have my two daughters pick the one they like. I just remembered I have some very cool vinyl. It’s white, soft and buttery. I’m going to try to paint it and see how that looks. I am really having fun with these.
