kind of square

A lot came out of this dyepot including two of these chiffon scarves. I started out with avocado green, but because of the clamping, I got those squares of turquoise. I love when this happens because it’s like the dye has a mind of its own. I guess it is just the time factor because I had folded and clamped the two chiffon scarves with squares of plexiglas. By the time the dye seeped into the clamped area, only the turquoise part of the avocado mix was left.  I don’t know why the gold or the boysenberry never seeped in. I am very happy with the results.
