Seriously, I am. I had a feeling the very first time I walked into this house that it was a diamond in the rough. Very rough. And well it has been six months since we moved in and our gem of a house is really beginning to shine. Peter you did an amazing job on these floors!

So two weeks ago we started here-
After we got all the linoleum up, 2 layers and the plywood subloor, Peter rented the sander and got to the sanding
Here are both rooms sanded. The small room has oak and maple and the big room has big pine boards that span the entire length of the room
finished with 3 coats of poly!
And the little room too.
And now suppertime, butternut squash soup and cranapple walnut cake.
Must be getting near the holidays! I always start the holidays off with this cake from Moosewood. Peter really did all the work, I just made coffee!
