I live every day

I’m thinking it might be time to put this blog to rest.

There is a lot of information here about dyeing, printing, and surviving.

Everyone has their way of surviving, this blog was mine. Posting here was very healing and now I have this wonderful documentation of many years of my life.

When I titled this blog, it was a sort of joke to me, a pun about life, it’s ups and downs, it’s joys and sorrows. Each day can hold so many emotions.

Today, I live every day. I love, create, and welcome in all of my beautiful life with gratitude.

The Guest House

by Rumi

This being human is a guest house.
Every morning a new arrival.

A joy, a depression, a meanness,
some momentary awareness comes
as an unexpected visitor

Welcome and entertain them all!
Even if they’re a crowd of sorrows,
who violently sweep your house
empty of its furniture,
still, treat each guest honorably.
He may be clearing you out
for some new delight.

The dark thought, the shame, the malice,
meet them at the door laughing,
and invite them in.

Be grateful for whoever comes,
because each has been sent
as a guide from beyond.

Sleep well little blog, I tuck you in and honor you with this beautiful blanket made from cottons I dyed every day for a while.

Have a wonderful, creative, loving life,

Love, Marjorie
