day 3 pretty maids all in a row

It is still snowing here in the Northeast. Actually icing and sleeting.
At the Center, there was an interesting talk by the wonderful Polly French, a master gardener of native wild flowers and artist living along the Deerfield River and I picked up one of her lovely poppy prints.

I really hope the sun comes out soon but in the meantime I’m on day 3 of the challenge and here is what I got from day 2’s dyepot

You may remember this from yesterday.

Well here they are, aren't they cheery?

And here they are all in a row my jewels from the dyepot so far this week.

I am getting this one ready for today’s dyepot. I am ironing the creases in and then I think I will probably sew and scrunch the larger area before I dye the fabric. Let’s see how it comes out!iron&white4
And last but not least I am so excited to show you this quilt almost done. I finished the major part of the hand quilting and I think I will quilt the edges and bind it by machine.quilt
Stay warm and have a wonderful creative day!
