Waiting for Ginkgo

I just finished dyeing these lovely silk charmeuse pieces. I used acid dyes, the colors are so jewel-like and beautiful. I sorted of painted these with dyes underwater. I used a foam brush, it was a lot of fun. I’ll be printing some ginkgo leaves later tonight I hope. aug21

We planted this pretty jade maidenhair ginkgo last year. It’s grown so much, it must be happy where it’s planted. What a joy to have in the garden! So many leaves to play with!

ginkgoHave a wonderful creative day/night.

Love,
Marjorie

It was such a pleasure to meet you in Shelburne Falls and to see so many samples of your artistry in your lovely shop. Most especially, enjoyed the conversation about Coptic Binding in handmade books which led to so many Classic Connections. Serendipity on a Sunday Afternoon.
