Make something every day

I got a tag on Facebook to join in on a make something everyday for 100 days thing.

Don’t you just love a good challenge like that? I mean really, who could resist that?

Here is my day one project. I woke up this morning and went through my stash for undyed fabric. I found this nice piece of white cotton something, maybe sheeting, I’m not sure. I folded it up kind of reminiscent of those little fortune teller paper games we used to make in grade school. I pinned it and well you know the rest!

Found a jar of procion magenta in my dye fridge. Not sure how old it is-let's see what happens!

Nice color, huh?

I poured some soda solution over  and went to work. I will unwrap it this evening and then I will show you what I got!

Winter is gone I think but I wanted to show you a couple of photos from last week- a little critter must have walked across the river when it was frozen and snow covered.

Just last week some little prints on the frozen river.
