Grateful for Blue

I love color so much! And I love this new blue linen. I’ve had it for a few months and was not sure what to do with it. Today it let me know.

Discharged with thiox and real ginkgo leaves. The color turns to gray. Gray is an awesome color -I can never mix it quite right, so grateful to the blue for revealing it!

I’ve listed this new piece in my etsy store and you can find that right here:

Q – Both blue and ginkgo leaves! Doesn’t get any more beautiful than that!

That is really exceptional. I cannot imagine how you did it, but it is so beautiful!

Thank you Mary! I silkscreened thiox with a screen I made from the leaves. Then I ironed it (steamed it). Then I washed it and then I ironed it again! lol. But i so love ironing.

Love the ginko blue/grey impact – too good for drying dishes! Makes me think of scones being kept warm on the table.

Love to hear from you!
