Today

Today is a glorious day! The sewing room is set-up and I started on a piece late this afternoon. I definitely went into the zone and that was nice. There is work and then there is work. I was thinking about beginning and becoming and how beginning the work somehow leads to becoming good at something, even though that isn’t exactly what’s on your mind at the time.

That’s exciting isn’t it?

Peter is making so much progress on the living room. I just have to show you! It’s two rooms really and they both started out pink with lots of gray linoleum tile and the dreaded florescent light fixture. A beautiful transformation I think. Thank you dearest for making our home beautiful.

Thanks Laura! I’m finally stitching with the beautiful wonderfil thread from your shop- will post more about that soon! I love working with it.

      • Woohoo! I look forward to your post. I’m stitching with it right now too. I’ve got a needle-turn applique block that I can take to work with me and stitch on during down time. I hope to post it soon.

Love to hear from you!
