oh well I didn’t get even one entry for my blog contest and I didn’t get into the Renegade craft Fair in this year. gotta take the dog out!

I like “hand made” better.. I have started the process of replacing all our towels with handmade ones. It started when I decided to use up some leftover cotton to weave hand towels in a waffle weave pattern. Though very simple (cream with a blue trim on either end), they FEEL amazing. Then I moved to bath towels. One I miscalculated; it was too long but not wide enough to make into a big beach towel. As I kept notes on what I did (so know where I goofed), I am going to make two more in different – but coordinated – colors and then see them together. Voila! A bedcover! (And I make all our own jams!)
By the way, I LOVE your Brooklyn Bridge towel!
