Well I don’t know how it happened but my studio got away from me again. It is now a chaotic mass or mess of mismatched socks, laundry (both clean and dirty) papers that have nothing to do with my work, rolls of toilet paper (what?) knick-knacks, plastic garbage bags and other mishmosh that landed here because nobody knows where it goes.

I will do a before and after with the hope of inspiring you all. I love before and afters.

But first I want to tell you about the rice resist. I painted baby rice cereal on a piece of silk and then painted it with midnight blue dye like so-

A lot of fun but I have to admit I wasn’t crazy with the results -more to come on this subject.
